“A Unique Taste of Tasmania”
Named after Tasmania’s endemic Leatherwood tree (Eucryphia lucida) - found only in the cool, wet rainforest regions of southern and western Tasmania - Leatherwood Tasmania Tours offers unique Tasmanian experiences in beautiful natural settings.
Operating since 2005, Luke & Midori O’Brien currently specialise in small group photography tours.
Luke has been photographing Tasmania for more than 30 years now. As well as self publishing two hard cover landscape photography books, Luke has spent the last 20 years guiding groups of photographers all over Tasmania.
Midori spent the years from 2005 until Covid in 2020 taking care of Japanese groups, helping them explore and enjoy the best Tasmania has to offer.

We maintain all the relevant insurances and licenses to operate in Tasmania including Parks & Wildlife, Tourism Accreditation and Public Liability Insurance.
